Why Babysense™ II ?
Fact: During the first year of life, infants can experience irregular breathing patterns or even stop breathing completely. No one really knows why. And it can happen to any baby-premature or full-term, healthy or not. But there are a number of precautions parents can take:- Do not smoke in baby's environment
- Lie the baby on his/her back
- Do not overheat baby's environment and use the Babysense™ II Respiratory Monitor.
Babysense™ II has the proof of over 10 years' experience in private homes and hospitals. Babysense™ II has been in use for tens of thousands of infants and has helped saved lives. Simple to use, Babysense alerts you with an alarm if baby's breathing becomes abnormally slow or if breathing and motion stop. These could be signs of Central Apnea, which is considered one of the causes of Infant Crib Death (S.I.D.S). We have seen that Babysense can also alert when these signs indicate a cold, high fever, or other illness. Normal breathing and motion patterns trigger a flashing green light which can be seen clearly some distance away, giving you peace of mind. Babysense is a registered trademark of Hisense inc.

How Babysense™ II Works
Babysense constantly senses and responds to baby's breathing and movement. Breathing motions trigger the flash of a green light. If baby stops breathing for more than 20 seconds or if the breathing rate drops below 10 breaths a minute, a loud alarm is sounded. When the alarm is sounded, parents should follow the procedures described in the included instructions. |

Simple Configuration, Now Safer Than Ever
Babysense™ II includes two sensor panels which fit under the mattress. Monitoring is done without touching the baby. The sensors are connected to a small, battery operated control unit clipped to the side of baby's bed. There is no connection to any electrical outlet.
A low-battery indicator lights when batteries need to be replaced. The battery life is approximately 6 months. |
